Meet Dr. Matt Asermely

Dr. Matt Asermely, aka Dr. Matt, is a board-certified pediatric dentist who graduated from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and completed a two-year post-graduate specialty training program at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and Boston Children’s Hospital, the world’s top-ranked children’s hospital. His training focused on providing safe and effective dentistry for children of all ages, including those with special health care needs, and he has since worked in private practice for several years. As a board-certified specialist, Dr. Matt is uniquely qualified to treat infants, children, and teenagers, including those with intellectual, developmental, and emotional disabilities, offering expertise in behavior management, preventative and restorative dentistry, dental extractions, minimally invasive dentistry, early orthodontics, sedation, and dental trauma management. He is dedicated to delivering high-quality treatment in a friendly manner that prioritizes children’s developing psyche, welcoming families from all walks of life and believing every child deserves fair dental care. Originally from New England, Dr. Matt has visited the Eastern Shore throughout his life to see close family members and is excited to bring his specialized training to the children of Salisbury and Delmarva. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time by the water, watching football, playing golf, and trying new foods, and he now lives on the Eastern Shore with his wife.
