Meet Dr. Marshall Gibbs

Dr. Marshall Gibbs is the Founder and CEO of Mint Condition Dental which opened January 2014 in Cheney, WA. Mint Condition Dental has grown to 4 locations: Cheney, Colfax, Pullman, and Liberty Lake.

Marshall is from the small town of Culdesac, Idaho where he grew up on a dryland farm and cattle ranch. He appreciates the Inland Northwest for its four seasons, easy-going lifestyle, and small communities. Upon graduating from the University of Idaho (2007), Marshall attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and graduated in 2011. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry including: pediatrics, orthodontics, jaw pain, facial esthetics, sedation, oral surgery, endodontics, and implant dentistry.

Marshall’s passion is to provide communities with the best dental experience by providing exceptional customer service, comprehensive care, and one visit dental appointments. He believes the foundation to providing this experience is by developing an aligned company culture with consistent training and development and utilizing the most advanced technology.

Meet Dr. Carrie Ayer

Dr. Carrie Ayer grew up in a small town in Northern Nevada. She pursued the interest in dentistry after having braces as a young adult. She moved to Sacramento CA and graduated from University of California Davis with and B.S. in Nutrition Science. Dr. Ayer believes nutrition is key component to maintaining healthy life and teeth. She was accepted to University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine and graduated with Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2007.

Dr. Ayer practiced dentistry on Maui and Big Island for several years. She focused on community healthcare and outreach to schools on the Hawaiian islands. She enjoyed preventive general dentistry and oral health education for the underserved children and adults on the islands. The islands were wonderful but she missed the four seasons and decided to move to Bellingham Washington where she practiced at a group private practice for six years. End of 2021 Dr. Ayer moved to Northern Idaho. She enjoys snowboarding, hiking, water sports and spending time with husband and fur babies. She looking forward to exploring the new vicinity and plans on retiring in the area.

She has compassion and love for dentistry. She offers a variety of procedures and wants patients to have a relaxed comfortable experience. She values education and takes continuing education classes to polish her skills and learn advanced techniques to help her patients maintain a healthy beautiful smile.

Meet Dr. Trason Shoquist

Dr. Trason Shoquist has been dedicated to delivering exceptional dental care since earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Roseman University in 2017. With a broad scope of practice, Dr. Shoquist has worked as both a partner and owner in Omaha, NE, and Kalispell, MT, before relocating to Spokane in 2023. His expertise includes creating individualized treatment plans, performing root canals, extractions, and fillings, all with a strong emphasis on patient comfort and pain management. Dr. Shoquist is also known for his thorough examinations and cancer screenings, ensuring his patients receive comprehensive care. His commitment to patient education and fostering positive clinic environments has led to improved patient experiences.

Dr. Shoquist is not only passionate about dentistry but also enjoys spending his free time exploring the outdoors. He loves hiking and frequently visits Priest Lake to relax and recharge. His dedication to both his patients and personal well-being reflects his balanced approach to life and health.
