Meet Dr. Kristen Olson
Dr. Kristen has spent her professional life as a dentist striving to improve the oral health of her patients. Prior to dental school, she graduated summa cum laude from the University of Mary majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry in 2002. She earned her doctorate from the University of MN School of Dentistry in 2006. Knowing she wanted to work in rural North Dakota, she returned to her hometown of Mott and joined in practice with Dr. Gjerstad. She then opened a second location in Dickinson, ND. At both offices, Dr Kristen works together with her patients through education, utilization of modern dental technologies, and comprehensive therapies to achieve optimal oral health.
In order to promote oral health in the community, Dr Kristen has volunteered at the Mission of Mercy events, Give Kids a Smile Day, and participated in the school sealant program. She is the president of the West Slope Dental District and an active member of both the state and national dental associations. At work she may be called doctor, but at home, she's called mom. Dr. Kristen is the proud mother of four children, 2 boys, and 2 girls. Her favorite hobby is spending time together with her children making memories. They enjoy going to the lake, swimming, golfing, and attending sporting events. She is also the cheerleading advisor for the Mott-Regent School and a church musician at St. Vincent's Catholic Church in Mott. Dr. Kristen is also a member of her local lions club and serves on the Mott Visionary Committee.

Preventive Dentistry
