What is Laser Therapy?

Dr. Karl Smith provides laser treatments with WaterLase®, a technology that uses light waves directed through water to eliminate infected tissues. This allows our patients with periodontal disease the ability to receive comfortable care of periodontal disease. We help families maintain good oral health with this advanced treatment. Our practice is committed to patient comfort and supports positive experiences with a friendly atmosphere and gentle treatment.

The Unique Benefits of Laser Therapy

Superior Comfort

Using water, this therapy eliminates friction, meaning no cutting or scraping, and the water provides additional comfort to your gums and teeth.

Minimized Risk

During laser therapy, harmful bacteria is sterilized, which allows your smile to heal more effectively and reduces the risk of re-infection.

Rapid Recovery

Patients see results soon after their initial treatment. With fewer necessary treatments, we help many resume daily life with the confidence of a healthy smile.
