Meet Dr. Stanisic
Dr. Stanisic was born in North Carolina and raised in Southwest Florida, where she developed a passion for dentistry after a life-changing orthodontic experience as a teen. She began her dental journey at 19 as a dental assistant, earned her B.S. in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Public Health from USF, and later completed her DDS at the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry. After dental school, she returned to Florida to launch Lake Dental, a practice born from nearly two decades in dentistry and a lifelong dream of helping others smile. Outside the office, she enjoys time with her husband Nik, daughter Angelina, and loves cooking, yoga, and traveling. Dr. Stanisic stays at the forefront of her field through continuing education and advanced technology and is an active member of several dental associations, also giving back through volunteer work for underserved communities.
